Job Description

We are proud to announce that we have been selected by Emirates to support their search for experienced Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) and/or Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE) to support simulator-based training and checking operations. This role is suited to highly professional instructors with a strong training ethos, excellent CRM skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and instructional quality.

Emirates Flight Training is a modern, forward-thinking division employing Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and is among the few global operators fully implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT). They offer a dynamic environment focused on continuous professional development, standardisation, and application of the latest training methodologies.

As part of Emirates Airline’s continued growth, they are seeking experienced professionals to join their Flight Training department in non-flying, ground-based role as Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI). This position is responsible for delivering training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and conducting ground school instruction in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ standards.

Role Requirements:

  • Hold or held a CPL / APTL
  • 1500 hours PIC on multi-pilot jet aircraft
  • 12 months experience as instructor / examiner
  • ELP 4+
