We are proud to announce that we have been selected by Emirates to support their search for Flying Instructors– Single Engine, at the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA). The Emirates Flight Training Academy is seeking passionate, skilled, and safety-driven Single Engine Flying Instructors to join their world-class training team in Dubai.

First-of-its-kind training facility in Dubai, the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) is located in Dubai South, Dubai World Central (DWC). With its unique facilities and resources, Emirates Flight Training Academy offers the opportunity to learn to fly in the most advanced flight training academy in the world.

Their fully-operational flight operations centre is dedicated to Emirates Flight Training Academy cadets only, making flight training part of everyday life at the Academy. This means you will have the opportunity to gain a complete operational experience in one holistic environment.

As a Flying Instructor in EFTA, you are responsible for delivering high quality flying training instruction, initially on SR-22 single engine aircraft, to ab-initio pilot cadets, at the Emirates Flight Training Academy. Instructional duties include on-aircraft, in-simulator and on-ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre-and post-flight briefings, accurate report writing and assessment. Having demonstrated proficiency in the single engine instructional role, there is the potential to move onto the DA42 twin engine flee

Role Requirements:

  • CPL / ATPL with SEP rating
  • FI rating with night and instrument ratings
  • 700 hours total time
  • 500 hours instructional time
  • 200 hours IFR time
  • Currently instructing
  • ELP 5+
  • Valid LPC
  • Must relocate to Dubai
  • Proven experience delivering ab-initio flight training within a large ATO

4. Hire Vue Interview 
5. Psychometric Assessments (Personality & Abstract Reasoning Tests)
6. Stage 1 (Online Interview – MS Teams)  - includes prepared online presentation followed up by competency-based interview.
7. Stage 2 (In-Person Assessment) Technical Assessment (Conducted in DXB) Includes advanced compass test, flying assessment and medical test.
