Job Description

We are delighted to support our client, a national flag carrier airline based in mainland Europe, in their search for a Manager Of Flight Operations Engineering.

Main duties:

  • Manage the Department and the dedicated staff, including the task distribution.
  • Be the key contact for technical and operational matters in case of need and inform the Vice President.
  • Be in charge of Flight Operations Projects.
  • Perform all duties of the “Officer Flight Operations Engineering.”
  • Perform the duties of deputy EFB administrator, which consists of:
- Assisting the EFB Administrator on his tasks.
- Taking over all duties and responsibilities of the EFB administrator in his absence.
- Being responsible for the EFB training and training material.

Role Requirements: 

  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Have a proven technical, aeronautical or aviation experience of min 5 years.
  • Have solid knowledge in “Operations Engineering” matters or equivalent experience.
  • Have good leadership skills to lead a team of engineers and experts.
  • Have strong organisational skills and a clear sense of priorities
  • Show a strong ability to communicate at all levels, inside and outside the company.
  • Demonstrate a strong affinity for a wide range of software applications.
  • Strong Knowledge of EASA Air Ops regulations and ICAO standards
  • Be Familiar with the Electronic Flight Bag application.
  • Show experience with safety and security risk analysis.
  • Show excellent communication skills in English.
