Developer (.Net Core, HTML AngularJs, ReactJs, Typescript JavaScript, SOAP, AJAX, jQuery, NuGet, Dapper, SQL Server) Permanent Job in Mallorca

We are searching for a Developer for our Client - a rapidly growing successful business in Mallorca, who is expanding the development teams, in the Palma based office.

 

As a Developer, you will be part of a of team of talented software engineers and QA engineers in developing, supporting and maintaining our platform. We work with a wide range of technologies (.Net Core, HTML AngularJs, ReactJs, Typescript JavaScript, WCF, MVC, WebAPI, SOAP, AJAX, jQuery, NuGet, Dapper, SQL Server, Redis, Mongo, Kafka, ELK), and although you do not need to be an expert in each of these, some working knowledge would be required. You will work in a team of around 6-8 engineers, scrum master and business analyst, working within an agile environment. Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of engineer's in the creation of high quality software within agreed deadlines.

• Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team, from development through to live.

• Adhere to and Implement best practices and methodologies as outlined by the Development Team Lead.

• Perform code reviews and provide regular feedback to your follow developers.

• Embrace a "continuous improvement" mentality.

• Actively involved in the Live Support process, where applicable.

• Be a champion for your area within the IT and business organisations.

 

Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a software developer, ideally working with Microsoft technologies (.Net). Java and other languages would also be beneficial.

• Knowledge and working experience work with developments tool like Visual Studio, BitBucket, Team City and Jira.

• A good understanding of Design patterns and Unit Testing.

• Knowledge and working experience working in agile developments teams.

• A good understanding of development best practices, including coding standards, Unit Testing, OOP, GITFlow, CI and automation.

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish.

• Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.

• Experience within the travel industry is highly advantages.

• Experience of working within the Cloud (Azure, AWS) is not essential, but would be beneficial.
