QA Engineer ( (.Net Core, HTML AngularJs, Typescript JavaScript, SOAP, AJAX, jQuery, NuGet, Dapper, SQL Server, ) Permanent Job in Mallorca

We are searching for aN QA Engineer for our Client - a rapidly growing successful business in Mallorca, who is expanding the development teams, in the Palma based office.

 

As an QA Engineer, , you will lead a team of talented engineer's in developing, supporting and maintaining our platform. We work with a wide range of technologies (.Net Core, HTML AngularJs, ReactJs, Typescript JavaScript, WCF, MVC, WebAPI, SOAP, AJAX, jQuery, NuGet, Dapper, SQL Server, Redis, Mongo, Kafka, ELK), so working experience in testing applications built using these technologies is preferred. You will work in a team of around 6-8 engineers, scrum master and business analyst, working within an agile environment. Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of engineers in the creation of high quality software within agreed deadlines.

• Analyse requirements to understand the impacted system areas and create detailed test cases.

• Create accurate and detailed bug reports.

• Work closely with the other QA Engineers, to improve the automated test coverage.

• Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team, from development through to live.

• Ensure the technologies, tools and techniques used within the team align with the agreed best practices defined by the QA team.

• Embrace a "continuous improvement" mentality.

• Actively involved in the Live Support process, where applicable.

• Be a champion for your area within the IT and business organisations.

 

Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 1 years' experience as a QA Analyst.

• Experience in testing both front end applications and back end services.

• Knowledge and working experience working in agile developments teams.

• Working knowledge and experience using test automation tools such as SoapUi, Selenium, Jmeter and Jenkins would be extremely beneficial.

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish.

• Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.

• Experience within the travel industry is highly advantages.
