QA Tester for a permanent job in Mallorca Spain !

 

Description

As a QA tester you will work in a team of highly skilled and experienced developers. Your focus will be verifying software that has been newly developed or changed. You will be conducting manual tests, edge cases as well as building and executing automatic tests. You will work in an agile environment.

 

You live (or want to live) in Mallorca and work in a thriving modern office in Palma with internationally diversified co-workers.

 

Key skills in some of the following areas are preferred, but not essential; .NET, C#, Selenium, SoapUi, groovy and jmeter.

 

 

Reporting and Key Relationships

· Reports to: Head of IT Department

· Key relationships: Developers, business analysts and other colleagues in the IT department.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

· Study, analyse and understand the requirements of the organization. Identify different parameters in their requirements.

· Understand the intended scope of the project.

· Prepare a testing plan with various parameters identified in the initial step.

· Find test configurations to get unexpected results to find the weaknesses of the software.

· Develop test applications for automating the test cases.

· Set up the test environment and trials.

· Record the findings accurately in order to track the progress and outcomes of the testing process.

· Prepare bug reports of the tests conducted on the software.

· Coordinate with the concerned team and management to bring about necessary modifications in the software.
