Job Description

As a Loader, you will work closely with your team to collect general waste and recycling from around Somerset. This role involves loading Refuse Collection Vehicles with recycling and waste, delivering a high standard of service, and always ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your team to collect household waste and recycling.
• Load vehicles with general recycling and waste materials.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Always adhere to contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate reliability with good communication skills.
• Willingness to be part of a successful, hardworking team.
• Ability to manage the physical demands of the role, including walking, lifting, pulling, and repetitive movements.
• Experience working in the waste industry.
• Experience working with Stillage Vehicles, Kerbside Loaders, and Refuse Collection Vehicles.
