Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare workpieces and components for painting, ensuring meticulous attention to detail throughout the process.
- Perform tasks such as masking, sanding, and rubbing down components to achieve the perfect canvas for painting.
- Clean, treat, and polish components as needed, elevating the quality of our finished products.
- Strip old paintwork with care and precision, laying the foundation for a fresh, flawless coat.
- Utilise a variety of hand and power tools, including DA sanders, sanding blocks, grinders, and drills, to achieve optimal results.
Personal Specifications:
- While previous experience in a paint/spray shop environment is advantageous, it's not essential we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Thrive in a dynamic workshop environment, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach to work, with a commitment to delivering excellence in every task.
- Possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each component meets our exacting standards of quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork within the workshop.
Qualifications and Certification:
- While no formal qualifications are required, individuals with certifications in vehicle paint and body repair are highly valued for their specialised expertise.
Additional Information:
- Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.
- Take advantage of optional overtime opportunities, offering increased compensation at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
