Job Description

We're in need of a meticulous and adaptable individual to fill the role of Assembly Worker with Stores responsibilities. This role will mainly involve undertaking various assembly tasks required to complete the refurbishment of customer machinery. In addition, you will also be expected to complete various stores and stock taking task to ensure effective level of spare parts and components required for ongoing refurbishments.

Requirements:

• Assess incoming products for refurbishment needs.
• Execute refurbishment procedures according to established guidelines.
• Reassemble products with precision and attention to detail.
• Replace worn or damaged components as necessary.
• Ensure that refurbished products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Sustain optimal inventory levels and initiate material reordering as necessary.
• Conduct routine stock assessments and meticulously update inventory databases.
• Operate hand and power tools proficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline refurbishment processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout the refurbishment process.
• Receive, meticulously inspect, and meticulously document incoming goods.

Special Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience in assembly work, particularly in refurbishment or restoration.
• Familiarity with refurbishment procedures and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and assembly instructions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and executing physical tasks.
