Job Description

The role involves performing essential maintenance tasks to upkeep outdoor spaces. As a member of the gardening team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that outdoor areas are well-kept and visually appealing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grass Cutting: Utilise various tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmer's, and edgers to cut grass to the required length.
  • Strimming: Use a strimmer to trim grass in areas that are inaccessible to lawnmowers, such as edges and corners.
  • Blowing: Employ a leaf blower to clear away debris and leaves from pathways, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
  • Litter Picking: Conduct litter picking prior to grass cutting to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on gardening equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hi viz jackets and safety shoes.

Requirements:
  • This role requires individuals who are physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Experience in gardening or similar outdoor maintenance roles is preferred.
