Job Description

Our client, a prominent FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Devon. With multiple sites across the UK, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within a large engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain machinery to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Conduct dismantling and reassembly of production equipment.
• Perform electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance.
• Carry out regular PPM and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience/Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG or similar production environments.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.)
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• 17th Edition qualification.
• Experience with electrical bias is essential.
• Understanding of pneumatic and mechanical systems.

 

Working Hours: Full time, Permanent. This role follows a shift pattern.
