Job Description
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our client that provides emergency public crisis support on an ad hoc basis. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to the public during extreme situations, with a primary focus on distributing water and ensuring the well-being of those affected. This position requires a quick response and a commitment to serving the community in times of need.
This is an Ad hoc, on call position NOT a Permanent Full-time role.
Responsibilities:
Be available to respond promptly to emergency situations as they arise.
Assist in setting up and managing temporary relief stations for the public.
Provide support and assistance to individuals affected by emergencies.
Effectively communicate with team members to coordinate relief efforts.
Provide clear and concise information to the public regarding available assistance.
Follow established protocols and guidelines for emergency response.
Manage and distribute resources efficiently, with a focus on water distribution.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in emergency response or community service would be an advantage.
Ability to remain calm and focused on high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to set up and manage relief stations, including lifting and carrying supplies.

Working Hours: This is an ad hoc, on-call position that may require availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves responding to emergencies as they occur.
Salary range: £13 - £14 p/h Monday Friday Day time and £18 - £19 p/h out of hours
Benefits: Mileage allowance depending on Location
