Qualified Electrician
Location: New Ross, Co. Wexford. (travel to sites required)

Salary: €30 per hour.

Our client is a well-established, SEAI-accredited renewable energy company based in New Ross, Co. Wexford, specialising in solar PV installations across residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors throughout Ireland.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a background in solar PV, to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work on installations across the South East, delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in solar PV installation (residential and/or commercial preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ETCI Wiring Regulations
• Full, clean driving licence
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling (essential or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and battery storage systems
• Carry out electrical installations, including first and second fix, in line with project requirements
• Ensure all work complies with current ETCI Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
• Liaise with clients on-site and maintain a professional and customer-focused approach
• Complete relevant documentation and certification for installed systems
