About the Role

Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an Intermediate to Senior PQS to join a well-established Chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy.

The role will involve working across a range of retail, leisure, and wider public sector projects, with additional exposure to civil and building works depending on project requirements.

Projects will vary in scale and complexity, from smaller developments through to larger multi-million euro schemes, offering strong exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle, from early cost planning through to final account.

This position offers a flexible working model, with options for hybrid or remote working depending on experience, alongside strong support from an experienced and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-contract through to final account stage
• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
• Provide cost advice and commercial input to clients
• Administer contracts across RIAI and public works forms
• Manage procurement processes and tender evaluations
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting
• Attend client and design team meetings as required
• Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Support junior team members where required
• Maintain strong client relationships across projects

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
• 5+ years’ experience within a PQS or consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of RIAI and Public Works Contracts
• Experience across full project lifecycle delivery
• Proficient in CostX, Cubit, or similar software
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Irish or UK experience highly advantageous
