Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer with expertise in civil and electrical design engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing tenders for various engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse project specifications and requirements to prepare detailed and accurate tenders.
- Lead a team including estimating, BD, Project manager and collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather information for tender submissions.
- Utilise estimating skills to determine costs and pricing strategies.
- Develop project schedules using MS Project, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Oversee programme management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in tendering and estimating within the engineering sector.
- Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
