Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team in the North East on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will act as the principal point of contact throughout the tendering process, ensuring effective communication with the Bid team and addressing tender requirements. The role involves bringing innovation and value to tenders, liaising effectively with team members involved in tender preparation, and ensuring submitted documents exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the main contact during the tendering process, coordinating with the Bid team.
- Bring innovative ideas and value to tenders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure tender documents surpass client expectations.
- Manage and undertake detailed tender processes.
- Present tender documents to company directors.
- Develop and negotiate sub-contractor terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Relevant qualification in the construction industry (HNC, HND, or degree level).
- Experience in analising tender documentation.
- Knowledge of BIM-enabled design.
- Familiarity with the whole life cycle of costs.
- Ideally, experience working in the construction industry.
