Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team specialising in the rapidly growing Energy infrastructure sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design of civil and structural construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This is an exciting role in a growing organisation where we need design skills in civils works, which may include foundations, drainage, reinforced concrete, steel, roads and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop civil designs for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct site feasibility studies to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, project and construction managers.
- Perform structural analysis and design for structures on substations, transmission lines, buildings and foundations.
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits as required, to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design engineering.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software e.g AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
