Payroll Manager - London (Hybrid)

A leading international law firm is seeking a highly experienced Payroll Manager to lead UK and international payroll operations. This is a permanent hybrid role based in London, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performing finance team within a prestigious global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process monthly payrolls across UK and selected international offices.

  • Oversee compliance with UK payroll legislation and internal controls.

  • Handle partner payments, pension contributions, and third-party reconciliations.

  • Lead and mentor a Payroll Specialist.

  • Collaborate closely with HR and Tax teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience in payroll, ideally within a partnership or professional services environment.

  • Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations and international payroll exposure.

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
