Job Opportunity: Patent Attorney (Chemical Engineering/Chemistry)

A leading intellectual property law firm is seeking a qualified or finals-level Patent Attorney with a background in chemical engineering or chemistry. The role offers hybrid working from their Munich office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting patent specifications in the chemical sector

• Managing global patent prosecution and advising on IP protection

• Client correspondence and representation at the European Patent Office

• Researching third-party intellectual property rights

• Business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

• Patent Attorney qualification (UK, DE, FR, or European) or finals-level

• Strong academic/industry background in chemical engineering or chemistry

• Experience in hydrocarbon processing or polyester production is a plus

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Ability to manage high workloads and deadlines
