Part or fully qualified Patent Attorney - Tech & Eng London (hybrid)Permanent
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, one of Europe’s leading firms of patent and trade mark attorneys. Their Tech & Eng team consists of over 60 individuals who advise the highest profile clients across all areas of technology and engineering.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a part or recently newly-qualified patent attorney with a background in physics, electronic engineering, computer science, software or engineering to join the Tech & Eng team. In this role you will have the chance to support Partners and clients across the group. You will also have the unique opportunity to work with one of our newest clients on their truly cutting-edge technology, so you will have the opportunity to help build and forge a trusted and valued long-lasting relationship.
Requirements:
- You will ideally be newly qualified or have at least completed your Certificate in IP Law and your pre-EQE.
- You should have a broad range of foundation experience working on a wide range of prosecution and drafting work and be confident liaising with clients and examining bodies.
- Experience or an interest in the following is highly desirable: computer hardware, optics, photonics, electronics/electrical engineering, telecoms, medtech, and robotics.
- You should hold a 2:1 or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree.
