GALLEY HAND REQUIRED FOR NEW BUILD CHARTER PROGRAM – 80M MOTOR YACHT

Vessel: 80m New Build Motor Yacht
Program: Dual Season (Charter with Private Use)
Start Date: August / September
Salary: €3,500 per month + Tips
Leave Package: 90 days

We are looking for a hardworking, positive, and proactive Galley Hand to join a prestigious 80m new build motor yacht ahead of launch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to gain experience within a professional, high-level yacht galley while working alongside a supportive and experienced culinary team.

The role will involve assisting with the final galley setup, organising deliveries and orders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the chefs during busy operations. The vessel will cater for up to 50 pax including owner, entourage, and crew, requiring strong teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail.

This role would suit someone energetic, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working within a fast-paced yacht environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with daily galley preparation and service support
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the galley
• Help organise deliveries, stock rotation, and provisioning during setup and operational periods
• Wash dishes, utensils, and galley equipment efficiently
• Support smooth day-to-day galley operations during owner use and charter activity
• Ensure all storage areas remain organised and well maintained
• Assist with crew meal preparation

Requirements:

• Experience in onboard galley environments or professional kitchens essential
• Team player with good communication skills, positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Calm and efficient under pressure
• Energetic and adaptable within a busy yacht environment
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow within the industry
• Mature and professional approach to work
• Male or Female candidates welcome
• British-speaking preferred
