Vessel: 45m Private Motor Yacht (recently purchased)
Location: Mediterranean
Contract: Seasonal, ending end of September/veginning of October.
Start Date: Latest 22nd August with 3 day handover with current outgoing Deckhand
Salary: $3,500 per month (depending on experience)
Leave: 42 days per year (3.5 days per month)

Open to female candidates only due to cabin arrangements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Deckhand to join a 45m motor yacht to support the extension of their season. This role is to replace the current deckhand who was initially contracted until end of August and now has prior commitments that do not support the vessel's extended season to October,

This is a high-energy Mediterranean program for an Indian owner who is new to ownership but very familiar with luxury charter expectations and has chartered for years. The vessel is known to host lively social events, DJ nights, and themed parties, so the deck team must be ready to support dynamic, guest-interactive operations while maintaining impeccable seamanship. It is more likely that as the season winds down, guest trips will have more of a relaxed business focus, including taking part in the Monaco Boat Show in September.

You will be supported by a Bosun and Chief Officer, as well as a hands on Captain. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Captain, officer and deck team in all deck operations, maintenance, and safety protocols
• Deliver high-standard, polished service during guest events
• Prepare and maintain the exterior for both show and operational readiness
• Support water sports, tenders, and deck toys during guest trips
• Collaborate with interior team to ensure smooth guest experiences

Requirements:

• Proven deck experience on 40m+ motor yachts
• Confident in guest-interactive environments, including high-energy events
• Strong team player, adaptable, and solution-focused
• Excellent seamanship and maintenance skills
• Polished presentation and professional approach
• Fluent English, excellent references
