We are seeking a strong, practical Deckhand capable of supporting heavy deck work, delivery operations, and full external setup.
Additional Information:
This project involves supporting a 50m new build that is currently being delivered to the US. The temporary team will join the vessel mid-handover and must be able to integrate immediately with zero training or familiarisation window. The role requires a highly experienced, self-sufficient, and solutions-driven crew who can handle the following from day one:
Delivery passage from Antigua to St. Thomas
Unstowing all areas of the yacht following delivery transport
Full interior and exterior deep clean after shipping
Machinery and systems servicing alongside contractors
Complete operational setup for charter readiness
Relocating the vessel from St. Thomas to St. Barths for handover to permanent crew
Permanent crew will rejoin on 27 December, with charter beginning 28 December, so the temporary team must be capable of working fast, autonomously, and professionally under time pressure.
Only serious, over-qualified US passport-holding candidates who can step aboard and operate immediately should apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all deck duties during delivery passage
Unstow deck items, prepare equipment, assist with tender ops
Full exterior washdown + detailing after shipping
Support Bosun/Mate with anchor/line handling and passage operations
Ensure the vessel is exterior-charter-ready for handover
Requirements:
US Passport (mandatory)
1–2 years experience on 40m–60m+ yachts (delivery or heavy-deck preferred)
Strong seamanship; able to work fast and follow direction
