A confident, self-reliant male Temp Chef is needed for crew cooking during the delivery passage and charter-prep period.
Additional Information:
This project involves supporting a 50m new build that is currently being delivered to the US. The temporary team will join the vessel mid-handover and must be able to integrate immediately with zero training or familiarisation window. The role requires a highly experienced, self-sufficient, and solutions-driven crew who can handle the following from day one:
Delivery passage from Antigua to St. Thomas
Unstowing all areas of the yacht following delivery transport
Full interior and exterior deep clean after shipping
Machinery and systems servicing alongside contractors
Complete operational setup for charter readiness
Relocating the vessel from St. Thomas to St. Barths for handover to permanent crew
Permanent crew will rejoin on 27 December, with charter beginning 28 December, so the temporary team must be capable of working fast, autonomously, and professionally under time pressure.
Only serious, over-qualified US passport-holding candidates who can step aboard and operate immediately should apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for a hardworking crew team
Support provisioning and galley setup after transport
Ensure full galley organisation, cleanliness, and readiness for permanent chef handover
Work efficiently with limited info and tight turnaround times
Maintain food safety standards throughout the passage and prep
Requirements:
US Passport (mandatory)
Chef experience on 40m–60m yachts or high-end land-based equivalent
Able to manage a galley solo and adapt to unfamiliar equipment
STCW + ENG1 + Food Hygiene L2
