TEMP BOSUN – 50M NEW BUILD (US Passport Only)

Dates: 18–28 December
Join: Antigua/BVI
Depart: St. Barths
Package: $350 per day, flights + hotel covered

We are looking for a seasoned Temp Bosun with strong leadership and hands-on deck skills to support the vessel through delivery, full external setup, and charter preparation.

Additional Information:
This project involves supporting a 50m new build that is currently being delivered to the US. The temporary team will join the vessel mid-handover and must be able to integrate immediately with zero training or familiarisation window. The role requires a highly experienced, self-sufficient, and solutions-driven crew who can handle the following from day one:

• Delivery passage from Antigua to St. Thomas

• Unstowing all areas of the yacht following delivery transport

• Full interior and exterior deep clean after shipping

• Machinery and systems servicing alongside contractors

• Complete operational setup for charter readiness

• Relocating the vessel from St. Thomas to St. Barths for handover to permanent crew

Permanent crew will rejoin on 27 December, with charter beginning 28 December, so the temporary team must be capable of working fast, autonomously, and professionally under time pressure.

Only serious, over-qualified US passport-holding candidates who can step aboard and operate immediately should apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deck team through unstowing, deck setup, and full exterior detail

• Manage all deck operations during the Antigua → St. Thomas delivery

• Assist Mate/Captain with passage duties and navigational support as required

• Coordinate with engineering for servicing machinery and deck equipment

• Prepare all toys, tenders, lines and moorings for charter standards

• Ensure deck is charter-ready by 28 December

Requirements:

• US Passport (mandatory)

• Extensive Bosun/Lead Deckhand experience on 40m–60m vessels

• Strong watchkeeping, seamanship, and tender driving

• Able to lead a team on a yacht they’ve never been on before

• STCW + ENG1
