CHEF REQUIRED FOR DUAL-SEASON 40M CHARTER YACHT

Vessel:
40m Dual-Season Charter Motor Yacht
Location: Joining in Florida
Contract: Seasonal
Salary: $10,000 DOE + tips, 60 days leave plus discretional leave wherever possible
Start Date: Ideally Immediate, latest beginning of November 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Charter Chef to join a 40m dual-season motor yacht. With a busy  U.S./Caribbean season ahead and charters already booked, we are looking for a skilled and organised Chef who can deliver exceptional cuisine while maintaining seamless service and communication with the interior team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef to join a professional and supportive crew on a well-run program. The owners are passionate about high-quality, healthy cuisine and are looking for a Chef who can deliver perfectly cooked fresh fish, grass-fed meats, and vibrant, nutritious meals. There are no budget limitations when it comes to sourcing the best ingredients, ensuring you have the freedom to create outstanding dishes for both owners and charter guests (total 10 pax), plus a crew of 8.

The vessel is backed by a highly efficient and proactive management team, alongside fantastic American owners who are deeply invested in their crew's well-being. They foster a supportive and engaging onboard environment, valuing open communication and encouraging longevity within the team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute nutritious, high-end meals for both private and charter trips
  •  Maintain perfect timing with service to ensure smooth, well-paced meals
  • Source fresh, premium ingredients and manage provisioning with ease
  • Take pride and care in providing the crew with healthy, nutritious meals 
  • Work closely with the Chief Stewardess and interior team of 3 to ensure strong communication and flawless service
  • Keep the galley organised, efficient, and immaculate at all times
  • Adapt to guest preferences and dietary requirements with creativity and precision
  • Manage galley budgets and provisioning logistics efficiently (despite unlimited budget)

Requirements:

  • Charter experience non-negotiable – must be confident in managing guest meal service for up to 10 guests and 8 crew
  • Strong time management – ability to deliver meals seamlessly with the interior team
  • Excellent communication skills – must be patient and work well with the service team
  • Passion for healthy, high-quality cuisine – must have a strong understanding of proper cooking techniques for meat, fish, and poultry to ensure perfect tenderness and texture, avoiding dryness or undercooking
  • STCW & ENG1 (valid and up to date)
  • Ideally already in the US. B1B2 or authorisation to legally work in the US essential - Cayman Island flag
  • Open to both male and female candidates
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent checkable references
