DECKHAND REQUIRED FOR 40M BUSY DUAL-SEASON CHARTER YACHT

Salary: $3,500 per month + tips

We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Deckhand to join a top-tier 40m charter yacht with an incredibly active itinerary. This is a golden opportunity for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience who is keen to work in a busy program with plenty of guest interaction, water sports, and adventure.

The vessel will be chartering extensively throughout the Caribbean season, before heading to the Med for a busy summer season. The owner values crew wellbeing and is supported by a world-class management company, ensuring the best possible program for those on board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all deck operations, including washdowns, maintenance, and docking procedures.
• Operate and maintain tenders, jet skis, and inflatable water toys with confidence.
• Support guest activities, including wakeboarding, snorkeling, and other watersports.
• Handle mooring lines, fenders, and anchoring procedures with precision.
• Maintain a pristine exterior, working alongside the deck team to keep the vessel charter-ready at all times.
• Work closely with the Lead Deckhand to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with the Chase Boat when needed.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience on similar-sized yachts.
• Yachtmaster Offshore certification preferred.
• Strong tender driving skills and experience with various water toys.
• Physically fit, active, and confident in a guest-facing role.
• Good knowledge of deck maintenance and product care.
• Comfortable with line handling, mooring, and anchoring procedures.
• Valid STCW, ENG1, PWC Instructor (preferred), and PDSD certification.
• B1/B2 Visa or legal authorisation to work in the US - Cayman Island flagged.
• Excellent checkable references.
