DECKHAND – 50M NEW BUILD CHARTER YACHT 

Vessel: 50m Charter Motor Yacht 
Location: U.S. & Mediterranean | Dual-Season Program
Contract: Permanent | 42 Days Leave
Salary: From $4,100 + 13th Month Bonus + Charter Tips
Start Date: November 2025 - Mediterranean

We are recruiting an experienced and driven Deckhand who will support the dedicated Chase Boat alongside its Captain while supporting daily operations of a performance-focused 50m new build charter yacht. This is an operationally intense, highly rewarding role for a candidate with strong seamanship and a mindset geared toward progression.

The owners are American, and have another 40m within their ownership that operates to a very high standard. This is a motivated owner who pushes for excellence and invests heavily into the vessels charter success. Excellent owners who support a program that encourages longevity within the team.

This vessel will operate to extremely high standards with a packed, operationally intense program — private and charter — demanding confident, capable deck crew with strong boat handling skills and the desire to push themselves professionally.

You will live aboard the mothership and work closely with a supportive, tight-knit deck team. The ethos onboard is one of growth, collaboration, and performance — leadership and team building are part of the culture. The Captain is building a crew of athletes: high energy, hungry to learn, and ready to step up.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the mothership full-time, with chase boat operations forming a key part of the vessel’s logistics, guest movement, and watersports platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for a deckhand with a Yachtmaster who is working toward OOW modules and eager to take on more responsibility in a program that promotes from within.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the chase boat alongside the Chase Captain.

• Assist in guest transfers, excursions, beach set ups and water sports.

• Full participation in deck operations on the mothership — line handling, washdowns, tender ops, large scale water sports operations and equipment.

• Take an active role in safety and navigational procedures.

• Opportunity to assist in passage planning and navigation tasks.

• Support training and development of junior deck team when required.

Requirements:

• Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum).

• Strong tender and chase boat handling experience (Wajer or Wally experience a plus).

• Minimum 1 year experience on 40m+ yachts, with operational charter experience preferred.

• Actively studying for OOW or planning to start modules soon — training support provided.

• Self-starter, disciplined, and committed to long-term program.

• High fitness level and positive, team-oriented attitude.

• STCW, ENG1, B1/B2 visa preferred.

• Excellent checkable references, happy to undergo a background check
