CHASE BOAT CAPTAIN – SUPPORT VESSEL TO 50M CHARTER YACHT

Vessel: Wally 58 or Wajer 55 (TBC)
Program: Support to 50m Charter Yacht | Dual-Season
Location: U.S. & Mediterranean
Contract: Permanent | 60 days leave
Salary: $6,000 DOE, + Tips
Start Date: October/November 2025 - Med/US (TBC)

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Chase Boat Captain to manage and operate a high-performance chase vessel (Wajer 55 or Wally 58) in support of a brand new 50m charter yacht. This role is pivotal to guest logistics, water sports, and owner movements, requiring exceptional seamanship, guest handling, and a proactive mindset.

You'll work alongside the mothership’s deck team while maintaining a standalone standard of care and professionalism for the chase vessel. The program will run at a high pace with frequent movements and demanding logistics — this role suits a confident, independent operator with a calm, guest-focused demeanour.

You will be sharing the Chase vessel's onboard accommodation with one of the deckhands from the mothership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full operational command of the chase vessel — guest transport, provisioning runs, logistics.

• Daily maintenance, presentation, and technical oversight of the chase boat.

• Safe and efficient guest transfers, including VIP handling.

• Work closely with the mothership’s Captain and deck team on itineraries and coordination.

• Oversee fuelling, technical inspections, and any required external servicing.

Requirements:

• Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum), commercial endorsement preferred.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating similar high-performance tenders/chase boats.

• Strong mechanical and systems knowledge - ideally AEC2 in hand.

• Calm under pressure, flexible, with excellent communication and guest service skills.

• Experience with Wajer/Wally vessels highly desirable.

• STCW, ENG1, B1/B2 visa preferred.

• Excellent checkable references and happy to undergo a background check.
