Chief Stewardess Required for 60m+ Private Motor Yacht

Salary: $9,000+ per month
Package: Excellent package + discretionary additional leave allowance

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Chief Stewardess to join a professionally run 60m+ private motor yacht. This is a program that operates to exceptionally high standards, where discretion, organisation, and professionalism are essential.

The successful candidate will be a confident leader with a proven record of managing a large interior team, delivering refined service, and maintaining a positive and structured working environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong coordination across departments, and the ability to anticipate guest needs in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

The yacht runs with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and seamless service delivery. The Chief Stewardess will be expected to lead by example, inspire confidence within the interior team, and uphold the highest levels of presentation and hospitality across all guest areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and motivate the interior team to deliver smooth, consistent service and maintain high morale.

• Oversee all aspects of guest service, ensuring a polished, discreet, and anticipatory style with occasional concierge duties.

• Coordinate effectively with other departments to support safe, efficient, and well-organised operations.

• Manage provisioning, inventories, budgets, and interior administration.

• Implement and maintain service and housekeeping standards across all areas.

• Mentor junior crew members and support professional development within the team.

• Communicate clearly with the Captain, senior crew, and shoreside support.

• Ensure the yacht is always maintained and presented to impeccable standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Chief Stewardess (or strong 2nd Stew with leadership experience on 60m+ vessels).

• Background on busy private or private/charter yachts working with high-profile guests.

• Proven ability to manage and train a team within a structured service environment.

• Strong knowledge of service styles, wine, table settings, and event planning.

• Highly organised with experience in budgeting, ordering, and interior administration. Purser training would be beneficial.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.

• Valid STCW, ENG1, Food Safety Level 2.

• B1/B2 visa or legal right to work in the USA preferred.

• Fluent in English with a professional, polished presentation and strong references.

• Willingness to undergo full background and drug screening checks.
