TEMP CHIEF STEW REQUIRED FOR FAST-PACED 43M PRIVATE/CHARTER YACHT

Contract: Temporary (End of September – End of October, potential into early November)

Salary: €8,500 per month
Leave: Accruing leave (temp basis)
We are seeking an experienced and confident Chief Stewardess to step in for October cover onboard a fast-paced, high-standard 43m motor yacht. This is an extremely demanding program with a formal service style, short-notice guest arrivals, and frequent last-minute turnarounds. You’ll need to be sharp, structured, and able to hit the ground running from day one.
The yacht operates to big boat standards with a tight, professional crew – largely ex-60m+ experience. Interior consists of two strong Stews in addition to the Chief, plus support from the owners’ private Chefs. Guest service is high-end and arms-length, with up to 6–12 guests onboard at a time. The program is intense, but well-backed – no budget restrictions, and everything needed is delivered fast.
The existing Chief Stew is on leave for October, and this is an opportunity to take charge of the interior during the final stages of the extended season. Owners are Ukrainian/Russian (per request, no Russian or Ukrainian nationals/speakers), and expect top-level standards delivered seamlessly.
This is a short-term role but with the potential for extension into early November, and the possibility of future opportunities with this very well-supported program.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the interior team of two, delivering top-level service and housekeeping under pressure
Anticipate guest needs, ensuring seamless service and quick turnarounds
Maintain order and structure within a demanding schedule
Work confidently alongside senior crew who operate at big yacht standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Chief Stew on similar-sized or larger yachts
Proven ability to run a fast-paced, formal interior operation
Strong service, housekeeping, and organisational skills
Confident trainer and team leader for junior stews
Able to step in and take charge immediately – no hand-holding
Fluent English, strong communicator
Valid STCW & ENG1
Must not be Ukrainian/Russian or Russian-speaking (per owner request)
Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
