Vessel: 50m Private Motor Yacht
Location: Imperia, Italy (Med-based)
Contract: Seasonal, could go permanent for the right candidate
Start Date: ASAP – no later than July 2nd/3rd
Salary: €3,800+ DOE | 38 days annual leave
We are looking for a sharp, experienced Second Stew with strong housekeeping skills and a proactive, positive attitude to join this well-run 50m motor yacht. The program is busy but family-oriented, with a highly engaged principal couple and three children who cruise for around 6–7 weeks over the summer. This is a well-established program and respectful Middle Eastern royal family.
The second stew role is very much hands-on and supportive — you’ll work under a capable Chief Stew and alongside a 3rd Stew and Deck/Stew. The environment is professional but not stuffy, with a clear emphasis on discretion, anticipation, and consistency.
Guests expect 5-star luxury with a family feel — efficient yet warm, polished but never overbearing. Your main duties will include housekeeping, cabin presentation, and service support. The interior style is classic and elegant, and the owner has plans for a full refit this winter.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with housekeeping, turndowns, and daily cleaning of guest areas
Ensure guest cabins are kept pristine, with full attention to detail
Support meal service — mainly family-style with a silver service edge
Work in rotation with the team to ensure seamless guest care
Assist with laundry and wardrobe management as needed
Communicate clearly with the Chief Stew and support the interior team
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 seasons of experience, ideally on 40m+ vessels
Strong background in housekeeping – this is not a training role
Calm, friendly, and eager to contribute to a team environment
High attention to detail and consistent presentation standards
Fluent English (native-level required)
Valid STCW, ENG1 and Food & Hygiene Level 2
Must have excellent references and be ready to hit the ground running
Preference given to candidates with English as their first language
