Job Description

EXPERIENCED 2ND STEW REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE FAMILY AND FLEET

Vessel:
30m Motor Yacht (Private) with larger vessel in build
Location: Based in Miami, Florida
Contract: Permanent or Seasonal
Start Date: TBC - ideally early July
Salary: $6,000+ per month, DOE (potential for significant increase for exceptional candidates), Generous Bonuses and Excellent Leave Allowance.

We are seeking a professional and experienced Second Stewardess to join the crew of this elegant 30m Riva, predominantly used as a family boat by a prominent American owner with three daughters. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a relaxed yet highly professional program, supporting a warm, well-mannered family and assisting during the occasional business meeting held onboard.

The yacht is typically in use Friday through Sunday, with no wild parties — creating a respectful, well-balanced onboard atmosphere. If you’re polished, proactive, and looking to be part of a dream team, this is a standout opportunity.

You’ll be working closely with a fantastic Chief Stew, supporting the day-to-day interior operations and preparing for both laid-back family weekends and the occasional guest visit. The owners value quiet luxury and high standards delivered with warmth and ease — no fuss, just beautifully executed service.

When based in Miami, the crew is housed in a stunning $2.5M bungalow with a pool just five minutes from the marina. During the summer in Connecticut, crew enjoy a townhouse next to the dock, offering excellent work/life balance and helping preserve the yacht’s condition.

This is a long-term, family-first program with future growth potential — the owner has a 50m new build underway, due for delivery in 2026. If you take pride in your work, love creating a calm and polished environment, and want to be part of something truly special, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to the family and their guests, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Assist in preparing the vessel for family trips and business meetings, ensuring a seamless and polished experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and attention to detail in both interior operations and guest-facing activities.
  • Support provisioning, inventory management, and the smooth running of the interior department.
  • Act as an integral part of the team, fostering a harmonious and positive working environment onboard.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Stewardess on similar-sized vessels or larger.
  • Previous experience serving high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and/or corporate guests.
  • Strong background in service, tablescaping, and fine dining.
  • Must be polished, presentable, and confident in guest-facing roles.
  • A warm and approachable personality with a commitment to maintaining a professional demeanour.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to varying guest schedules and expectations.
  • Non-smoker, no visible tattoos, and a strong work ethic are required.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
  • All required certifications, including STCW, ENG1, and Food Safety Level 2, must be valid.
  • Must have US residency or legal authorisation to work in the US.
  • Excellent checkable references.
Apply now to join an excellent team onboard a beautiful vessel, and enjoy a fantastic package with exceptional work-life balance!
