EXPERIENCED COOK/STEW REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE SOF VESSEL
Vessel: 28m Private M/Y
Location: South of France
Contract: Seasonal but will go permanent for the right candidate
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: €4,500 per month
We are currently seeking a versatile female Cook/Stewardess for a beautiful 28m private motor yacht based year-round in the South of France. The vessel is mostly used for local day trips during the season and some short trips further afield, with a total of around 30 days of guests on between May – September, with highly flexible winter arrangements. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, and it could be an excellent opportunity for someone local to the South of France seeking a work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of British food and culture, with the owner's meal preference being described as simple, homely cooking and "posh pub grub" with excellent presentation and flavour profiles. This is a well known, experienced fleet owner who also has operations in the Caribbean, where this role could progress into opportunities over there in the winter.
The vessel operates with a crew of 3 - Captain, Mate and Cook/Stew (you will have your own cabin), with a maximum of 6 guests occasionally but usually just the owner onboard. The onboard culture is relaxed, British and family style.
Please note that we cannot accept candidates with less than one year of experience in a similar role.
