SENIOR STEWARDESS, GUEST FACING ROLE 70M PRIVATE

Vessel: 70m Private, Motor Yacht
Location: Med & US/Bahamas
Contract: Rotational (3:1), potential for promotion, to start March 31st 
Salary: €4,000 - €4,500

Due to an onboard promotion, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Stewardess to join an incredible guest-facing team on a prestigious, newly built 70m private motor yacht, currently cruising the Mediterranean. This is a permanent position with a generous leave package, offering an excellent salary and extensive training opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years' experience, showcasing proficiency in all aspects of interior work, with the ability to manage a team. Candidates with a history of working in service on larger, ‘well known’ vessels are preferred however this isn’t a requirement.

The yacht accommodates a mature team of 8 interior crew members, including Chief Stewardess, Butler, 2x Senior Stewardesses, 2x Stewardesses, Spa/Hair, and Laundry. This is a fantastic, experienced, and well-knit interior team led by a brilliant Chief Stew and a Captain who prioritises Crew wellbeing onboard. Excellent owners.

Big focus on Service, must be comfortable with Silver Service. Guest facing role as often the Senior Stewardesses are required to assist the owners ashore at restaurants/shopping so they always have a crew member nearby. Capable of leading service and managing canape parties when required etc. Creative mocktail making skills and experience with elegant table settings.

For housekeeping, immense attention to detail is vital. Product knowledge, wardrobe management and skills in administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Absolute minimum – 4+ years experience with proven longevity. 
• Proficient in all aspects of interior work with excellent attention to detail and team management skills.
• Comfortable and professional in guest interactions as this is a guest-facing role.
• Preferred skills in creative cocktail making, table settings, and floral arrangements. Comfortable in leading service when required.
• Immense attention to detail is vital. Product knowledge, wardrobe management and skills in administrative tasks.
• Happy, positive, and mature outlook, capable of following direction and demonstrating flexibility.
• Passion to train up stewardesses to ensure that the highest standards are maintained onboard.
• This role will step up, alongside the other Senior Stewardess, to cover the Chief Stewardess when she is on leave so it is a great opportunity for someone to grow. Committed to personal and professional development and a willingness to learn and further develop in their career in admin and management.
• Must have correct VISA to work in the Med.
• FH Level 2.
• Female candidates only due to cabin arrangements.
