Vessel: Confidential 70m+ Private Motor Yacht
Location: Mediterranean (Dual-Season)
Contract: Permanent, 3:1 Rotation (90 days annual leave)

We are currently seeking an experienced Second Stewardess with a strong background in formal service and proven management expertise to join a prestigious 70m+ Private Motor Yacht. This dual-season vessel is family-oriented and offers a highly professional, tight-knit crew environment with an emphasis on crew well-being and safety under the Captain's leadership.
As the Second Stewardess, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Stewardess in the daily operations of the interior department, while managing service as "Head of Service" during guest periods. The position will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic and guest-facing environment, possesses excellent organisational skills, and is proactive in enhancing the structure and processes of the interior team. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Head of Service, overseeing and executing impeccable guest-facing service, particularly in collaboration with the owner’s personal travelling Butler.
- Ensure all service adheres to the highest standards, including Butler and Silver Service.
- Assist the Chief Stewardess in managing daily interior operations, including training and developing the interior team.
- Oversee the interior in the Chief Stew's absence, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining crew morale.
- Foster a harmonious atmosphere onboard, valuing teamwork and crew interaction.
- Support with guest excursions and activities, adapting to the owner’s active lifestyle (frequently enjoying the water and local excursions).
- Proactively manage guest outings ashore—comfortable with joining the guests ashore to restaurants, events or shopping. Must be able to think on the spot with problem solving and liaise with drivers/restaurants to co-ordinate a smooth trip ashore.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven longevity.
- Strong management experience as a Chief Stewardess on smaller vessels or 2nd Stewardess on larger yachts.
- Must have exceptional formal service skills (Butler and Silver Service) with an eye for detail to ensure highest standards of service and cleanliness.
- A proactive approach to developing and enhancing the interior department’s structure and processes.
- Comfortable interacting with guests, maintaining a warm, approachable demeanour at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. Must have experience in training and developing interior members.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, guest needs, and operational demands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Fluent English is essential for smooth communication and service; additional languages are an advantage.
- Valid B1B2 Visa is required.
- STCW, ENG1, PDSD, and Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certifications (with a minimum of 6 months validity).
