Job Description

1. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
2. Support the kitchen staff in food preparation activities, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
3. Help with the organization and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of stock
4. Assist in inventory management, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service by assisting in plating and garnishing dishes.
6. Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
7. Follow instructions from the kitchen staff and communicate any challenges or concerns effectively.
8. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
9. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
10. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
