Location: Offshore / Vessel-Based
Contract Type: Contract / Campaign-Based
Campaigns: 2026 & 2027

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Company Site Representative (CSR) to provide technical, operational, quality and HSE oversight during major offshore subsea installation campaigns.

The role will be based onboard a deepwater construction vessel and will focus primarily on the reel-lay installation of 18 x 10-inch production flowlines and associated PLETs.

As the primary client representative onboard, you will lead the company supervision team, work closely with the offshore installation contractor and vessel operations team, and ensure activities are delivered safely, efficiently, to schedule and in accordance with approved project documentation, specifications and risk assessments.

The role offers an opportunity to work on a major international LNG development involving complex subsea and offshore construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Client Point of Contact onboard the installation vessel and lead the Company Supervision team.
  • Support the EPCI Installation Manager with technical appraisal and supervision of offshore pipelay installation activities.
  • Review installation designs, plans, procedures and contractor documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and installation requirements.
  • Prepare for and support offshore vessel campaigns, including procedure reviews, HIRAs, readiness reviews, mobilisation and logistics.
  • Monitor and witness offshore installation activities, ensuring work is executed in accordance with approved requirements.
  • Provide effective daily, weekly and milestone reporting on progress, performance and installation status.
  • Participate in installation risk assessments and ensure agreed mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Ensure effective bridging between contractor and company HSE plans.
  • Lead and participate in safety walks, hazard hunts and other offshore HSE initiatives.
  • Ensure changes to scope, methods or execution are appropriately reviewed, risk assessed and managed through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • Monitor the contractor's completion process and ensure installation activities are appropriately documented and tracked.
  • Ensure verified information is provided to project reporting systems and support the mitigation of potential change orders.
  • Work closely with vessel Operations teams and maintain strong relationships across all offshore interfaces.
  • Liaise with project specialists covering areas such as materials, welding, corrosion, coatings, marine logistics and technical disciplines.
  • Ensure the Marine Warranty Surveyor is suitably supported and able to undertake the required inspections, testing and operational attendance.
  • Verify that contractors and the Company fulfil applicable regulatory requirements and permit conditions before work commences.
  • Identify and escalate technical issues requiring resolution through documentation reviews, mobilisation activities or installation progress meetings.
  • Contribute to project lessons learned and final close-out reporting.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Readiness and preparation of the offshore installation campaign.
  • Safe, efficient, on-schedule and high-quality execution of the installation campaigns.
  • Effective supervision of offshore installation contractors.
  • Appropriate company representation and supervision onboard the vessel.
  • Ensuring project HSE requirements and risk controls are effectively implemented.
  • Supporting inspection, testing, certification and Marine Warranty Survey requirements.
  • Maintaining clear communication between offshore execution teams and the wider project organisation.

About You

You will be an experienced offshore installation professional with a strong background in subsea construction and pipelay, ideally with extensive reel-lay installation experience.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including offshore technical, quality and HSE oversight.
  • Minimum 10 years' offshore pipelay installation experience, including proven experience with reel-lay techniques.
  • Strong experience working onboard offshore construction or installation vessels.
  • Proven experience managing and supervising offshore installation contractors.
  • Experience supporting offshore inspection services and HSE oversight.
  • Experience with installation procedures, HIRAs, readiness reviews and Management of Change processes.

  • Current BOSIET certification.
  • Current OGUK Medical certification prior to offshore mobilisation.

Personal Attributes

You will be comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced offshore environment and able to operate effectively as part of a small, flexible and multinational team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership and accountability for their area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Can manage competing priorities and multiple interfaces.
  • Has excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Maintains a strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence.
