WSR is recruiting for an experienced Property Manager on behalf of a well-established residential lettings business based in Banbury.

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £30,000–£35,000
Job Type: Permanent, on-site

This varied and rewarding position offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of residential properties while delivering an excellent service to landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle. Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will help maintain high property-management standards, ensure legislative compliance, coordinate maintenance and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties across Banbury and the surrounding areas.
• Support tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle, from application and move-in through to check-out and deposit return.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and monitoring the quality and completion of work.
• Conduct routine and ad hoc property inspections, prepare reports and arrange any required follow-up actions.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, tenancy renewals and deposit returns in line with current legislation.
• Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Respond to queries and resolve issues promptly, calmly and professionally.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve operational processes and service delivery.
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency telephone rota.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in property management or residential lettings.
• A strong understanding of tenancy legislation and property compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• The ability to manage challenging situations professionally and confidently.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• An ARLA Propertymark qualification would be advantageous, although support may be available for someone willing to work towards professional accreditation.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
