E2E Test Engineer (HLR, HSS, PCRF, OCS, MSC, SGSN, GGSN, IMS, VoLTE and 5G core , JIRA)

For our client in Denmark, a major Operator, we need another Test Engineer

Job description of the Test Engineer role:

• Validate subscriber provisioning, SIM activation, authentication, and policy enforcement in HLR, HSS, and AAA systems.

• Validate end-to-end service assurance for critical telecom services like voice, data, messaging, and video services.

• Perform attach/detach testing, IMSI & MSISDN mapping verification, and subscriber profile validation.

• Test mobility scenarios for seamless service continuity.

• Ensure realistic and comprehensive test data is prepared for subscriber provisioning, billing events, and service policies.

• Test integration between HLR/HSS, PCRF, OCS, billing, CRM, and provisioning systems.

• Conduct comprehensive regression testing to ensure that new code, updates, or patches to HLR/HSS, OSS/BSS, and CDR systems do not negatively impact existing functionalities.

• Validate Call Detail Record (CDR) generation for different types of telecom services, including voice, SMS, data, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
• Validate prepaid/postpaid billing events, policy enforcement, and credit control mechanisms.

• Ensure seamless communication between network elements and business applications.

• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing on HLR/HSS nodes and OSS/BSS systems.

• Monitor and analyse latency, throughput, and failover scenarios.

• Implement test automation frameworks to streamline validation, ensuring efficient, scalable, and repeatable testing processes.

• Log, track, and priorities defects using JIRA.

• Work closely with developers and network teams to resolve issues.

• Provide test reports, KPIs, and recommendations for system enhancements.

• Strong understanding of telecom architecture including HLR, HSS, PCRF, OCS, MSC, SGSN, GGSN, IMS, VoLTE and 5G core network elements.
