Role: Core Network & Transport Consultant (Railway Telecom / 5G / IP/MPLS)

Location: Spain
Duration: 6–9 months
Engagement: Full-time consulting assignment

Overview

We are supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure programme in Spain focused on the modernisation of railway communication systems and the transition from GSM-R towards FRMCS and next-generation mission-critical networks.

We are seeking experienced Core Network & Transport Consultants to support the analysis and architecture of telecom core and transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical analysis of core network infrastructure

• Architecture review of telecom network components

• Evaluation and design of packet core and mission-critical systems

• Analysis and optimisation of IP transport and backbone networks

• Preparation of technical documentation and architecture recommendations

• Collaboration with radio access and system integration teams

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Telecommunications or related field)
  MECES Level 3 or EQF Level 7

• Minimum 5 years telecom consulting experience

• Strong knowledge of core network architectures

• Experience with telecom transport networks

Technical Experience (one or more of the following)

• 5G Core / EPC / Packet Core

• IMS / mission-critical communication platforms

• IP/MPLS transport networks

• Telecom backbone infrastructure

Mandatory Requirements

• Spanish citizenship or residency

• Based in Spain

• Available for full-time consulting engagement
