GenAI Engineer (Design and implement LLM-based applications, Python (and/or JavaScript))

We are looking for a hands-on GenAI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate Generative AI solutions/Use cases that are for telecom automation domain. This role focuses on turning LLM capabilities into production-ready systems—integrated with workflows, APIs, data platforms, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM-based applications
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using structured and unstructured data
• Develop and tune prompts, embeddings, and reasoning workflows for accuracy and reliability
• Implement tool-calling, function execution, and agent-based workflows
• Deploy GenAI services using containerized, cloud-native architectures.
• Integrate GenAI components with enterprise systems, automation platforms, OSS/BSS, and APIs.
• Monitor and adapt model quality, hallucination risk
• Apply relevant guardrails, security controls

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Python (and/or JavaScript)
• Experience working with LLMs and GenAI frameworks
• Practical experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embeddings
• Experience deploying services using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
• Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, event streams, and workflow engines
• Experience with agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration
• Exposure to telecom or enterprise automation domains
• Knowledge of observability tools and AI monitoring
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Hands on working with BMC Helix AIOps solution is super plus
