Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Ericsson Packet Core SOLUTION ARCHITECT / Design Engineer with strong design and integration experience in EPC and/or 5GC environments. The role focuses on data-core components (MME, SGW/PGW, AMF/SMF/UPF, PCC, PCG, CCDM), KPI analysis, and audit activities — not traditional CS or IMS domains.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and integration of Ericsson Packet Core (EPC / 5GC) network elements.
2. Configuration and testing of PCC / PCG / CCDM / PCRF / UDC / UDM platforms.
3. Perform KPI analysis and audits for Packet Core performance (session management, throughput, latency, bearer setup, etc.).
4. Conduct signalling flow analysis (GTP-C/U, Diameter, NAS, SCTP).
5. Support feature activation, software upgrades, and performance tuning.
6. Coordinate with design, testing, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end performance and stability.

Required Experience

1. Strong background in Ericsson Packet Core (EPC / 5GC) — not CS or IMS.
2. Hands-on experience with MME, SGW, PGW, SMF, UPF, PCC, PCG, CCDM.
3. Good understanding of signalling flows in Packet Core (Attach, Session, Bearer Management).
4. Familiarity with KPI dashboards, performance tuning, and audit processes.
5. Solid protocol knowledge: GTP, Diameter, NAS, SCTP, TCP/IP.
6. 5+ years of relevant experience in a mobile operator or vendor environment.
