Experience of working as a Ran Engineer/Wireless Engineer, preferable with some experiences in 5G, E2E RAN Design

quick description:
Support wireless project delivery, eg new integration, swap, expansion and etc.
Support controller and site commissioning, integration and acceptance (GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G).
Operation and maintenance of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G customer networks.
Wireless products software upgrade and KPI monitoring.
Handling critical incident happens in customer live network.
Handling live network issues, using ticket system according to Service Level Agreements when needed.
Provide proactive service for the customer, eg network health check, evaluation and etc.

Work examples:

5G Demo solution deployment
5G Commercial Rollout. E2E 5G RAN design in NSA networking, interconnection with Legacy and new virtual core, testing and support for first commercial 5G service.
RAN Virtualization using Huawei Cloud BB solution
(implementation and testing of: inter eNodeB carrier aggregation, UL Coordinated multipoint reception to improve user experience on cell edge, SFN - single frequency network).

NB-IOT network design, integration and parameter optimisation in extended coverage scenarios. Practical experience with NB-IOT deployment in Band20.
RNC in Pool network design and implementation.

Huawei Lamp Site 2.0 and Lamp Site 3.0: testing in lab environment and implementation in live network with multiband scenarios on UMTS and LTE.
UMTS, GSM and LTE fault detection and rectification by analyzing CHR, DEBUG, MAINBOARD and TRACE logs using Huawei tools InsighSharp, FMA and TranExpert.

Huawei Lamp Site and small cell products for indoor coverage: data configuration and commissioning for different pRRU and RHUB topologies,

Acceptance and interworking tests between Huawei RAN equipment and RAN&Core equipment of other manufacturers.

Maintenance service provision for RAN according to maintenance contractual obligations (SLA 100% win, KPIs fulfillment) and company's procedures including alarms handling, network performance evaluation, NOC service, first line maintenance team remote support and guidance, trouble tickets handling and resolving or escalation to L2/L3 support, reporting to customer's responsible personnel.

Hardware installation supervision and guidance for BSC6900, BSC6910 and BTS3900/5900 families.

Software installation, scripts preparation for massive swap or rollout using CME, data configuration and commissioning using DHCP based O&M auto-establishment function on U2000.

BSC6900 and BSC6910 low&high level design using Huawei NEP tool (together with complete IP planning for Iu, A, Gb, Abis and S1 interface), dimensioning, and capacity expansions.

BSC6900 and BSC6910 initial commissioning including: Dopra Linux installation on OMU boards, application software installation, initial configuration script preparation and loading to host, initial interface debugging and integration with core network.

RAN network centralized upgrade using Huawei U2000 OSS system.

Duration: 1 year, with possible extension
