Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst | Hybrid | £70k–£75k
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, commercially driven finance team as a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, playing a key role in delivering high-quality insight, reporting, and analysis that directly supports strategic decision-making across the business.
This is a brilliant role for someone who genuinely enjoys getting into the detail, not just reporting the numbers, but understanding the story behind them, building strong models, and helping shape how the business plans for the future.
You’ll be working closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders, helping to drive better financial understanding across the organisation and contributing to both operational and strategic decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
✔ Producing monthly and quarterly management reporting packs with clear insight and commentary
✔ Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles (P&L, balance sheet & cash flow)
✔ Maintaining and developing forecasting models within Workday Adaptive Planning
✔ Supporting CAPEX reporting and analysis
✔ Partnering with budget holders to improve financial understanding and accountability
✔ Contributing to long-term strategic planning and business performance improvement
What we’re looking for:
✔ CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified
✔ Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
✔ Confident financial modeller across all core statements
✔ Strong Excel and data handling skills
✔ Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (highly desirable)
✔ SAP / GL Wand experience advantageous
✔ Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
✔ A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
