Up to £35,000 plus Bonus

A smashing newly created role is now available working within a local business who are growing at a rapid rate! The purpose of the role is to support the HR Manager with all recruitment and HR duties from interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees, to coordinating training and development. This role would be ideal for candidates who have solid recruitment experience and are looking to develop their HR skills, or candidates who have experience in both and are looking for a new challenge.

This role will include some hybrid some working.

 Role responsibilities:

• Manage, support and facilitate the full recruitment cycle
• Create and post job advertisements across job boards, social media and in-house
• Screen applicants’ details, shortlist and carry out initial telephone or teams’ interviews
• Responsibility for compliance with right to work details for all candidates and highlight any potential issues
• Prepare contracts, offers letters and onboarding documentation
• Coordinate any training and development activities
• Full involvement with the day-to-day HR operation by providing expert advice on employee relations, performance management, engagement and organisation development
• Assist with the payroll process ensuring accurate and timely details of absences, starters, leavers and all other variables
• Accurate completion of all HMRC correspondence and documentation including P11D’s
• Participation in Health and Safety

Candidate profile:

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a recruiter or in a similar HR role
• Be able to demonstrate hands-on onboarding training
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
