A smashing role has become available for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a global business in the local area. Managing a team of Drivers and Warehouse Operatives, you will be leading from the front as this role is very much a hands-on position.

Role responsibilities:

• Plan, pick, coordinate, and monitor material processing
• Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity targets
• Effective Driver Management, Coach and motivate ensuring the fleet of drivers will adhere to company policy procedures, Health and Safety guidelines and security processes
• Conduct regular stock control checks and ensure inventory accuracy
• Optimise the utilisation of resources, space, and mechanical handling equipment
• Maintain high standards of quality control
• Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are consistently followed within the work environment
• Perform key holder responsibilities, including securing the facility
• Uphold strong housekeeping standards
• Flexible to suit the demands of the business

Candidate requirements:

• Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks
• The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• A clean, full driving license is desirable
