Job Title: Business Development Specialist (Maternity Cover - up to 12 months)

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: up to £25,500

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week, 9:00am - 5:00pm – please note this role is office-based

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our client for a maternity cover assignment of up to 12 months. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on all enquiries to maximise sales and sales retention.
  • Achieve department sales targets by generating and following up leads.
  • Develop an understanding of the needs of both customers and clients to provide appropriate advice.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, including competitors, features, benefits.
  • Ensure correct data entry of all sample requests, conversions, and evaluation results into (CRM System).
  • Support New Product Development team with providing customer records and finding suitable customers for product evaluations and conversions.
  • Promote the benefits of Home Delivery Service at every opportunity.
  • Respond to customer complaints and address problems immediately.
  • Carry out administrative tasks as required.
  • Identify product advocates.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Proven telesales and customer service experience
  • Target-driven
  • Strong ability to empathize and connect with others
