Senior Dietitians Required

Location: Dublin South & Wicklow
Contract: Agency – 3 Months Initially, with Possibility of Extension

Job Overview

TTM Healthcare Solutions is currently recruiting Senior Dietitians for immediate agency positions within the Primary Care Community Nutrition and Dietetics Service across Dublin South and Wicklow.

The successful candidates will be based within a Community Healthcare Network (CHN), working collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines as part of the wider Primary Care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver dietetic assessments and interventions to adults and children across the community.

• Manage a varied caseload covering paediatrics through to older adults.

• Conduct individual consultations in clinic settings, through telehealth and via home visits.

• Provide group education sessions, both in person and virtually.

• Support patients with chronic disease prevention and management.

• Assess and manage patients experiencing malnutrition and requiring enteral feeding.

• Provide specialist nutritional advice for a range of clinical conditions.

• Develop individualised nutritional care plans and monitor patient progress.

• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.

Service Overview

The Community Nutrition and Dietetics Service forms part of the Enhanced Community Care (ECC) Programme, which aims to improve access to integrated healthcare services within the community.

The service comprises Dietitian Managers, Staff Grade Dietitians and clerical support, operating across eight Community Healthcare Networks and two Integrated Care Hubs for Chronic Disease in Dublin South and Wicklow.

Essential Requirements

• BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics 

• CORU mandatory

• Experience in a Primary Care or community dietetic setting is desirable.

• Experience managing adult and/or paediatric caseloads.

• Excellent clinical assessment, communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
