Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist – Primary Care Paediatrics

Location: Ballinasloe Health Centre, Brackernagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway
Network: East Galway & South Roscommon

TTM Healthcare Solutions is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist for an immediate start within the East Galway & South Roscommon Primary Care Network.

The successful candidate will join the Primary Care Paediatric Service, providing assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention to children with a range of speech, language, communication and developmental needs.

The role offers the opportunity to work alongside two Senior Speech & Language Therapists, providing a supportive multidisciplinary working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage a paediatric caseload within Primary Care.

• Provide appropriate speech, language and communication interventions.

• Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes.

• Support and advise parents and families.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare reports as required.

• Liaise with families, schools and other healthcare professionals.

• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements:

• BSc in Speech & Language Therapy

• CORU mandatory

• Experience working with paediatric caseloads is desirable.

• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
